Boat Tour; Flying High; “Captain, There Be Whales!”
After a lovely complimentary breakfast in the restaurant’s patio, which overlooks Cabo, we again carpooled down to the Marina. Several of us rented a boat to take us out to and around Land’s End and Los Arcos, stopping to see fish and sealions along the way:
Conversation with a vendor:
“Amigo, want to buy Cuban cigars?”
“You doan smoke?”
“I can teach you.”
We came back and had some lunch, then regrouped for an afternoon of parasailing, which Jeannine and I did tandem. It was wonderful, enhanced by being able to watch a mother grey whale and her baby surfacing and blowing beneath us.
On our way back in, we were fortunate enough to have them surface this close to our boat:
It was magical.
We returned home and had a well-earned shower. Tomorrow, we are being taken to a glass-blowing factory north of here. then returning for a sunset dinner cruise on a catamaran. We’re looking forward to it.
